Northern Imaging Victoria is a comprehensive Medical Imaging program incorporating Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine services. We have over 170 highly trained and experienced staff who are commited to clinical excellence, education and research.
Our services are based at Northern Health campuses at the Northern Hospital in Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Center and Kilmore District Hospital.

X-Ray and Radiation Safety
Northern Imaging Victoria provides a comprehensive range of radiographic examinations specifically tailored to patients of all ages across a broad range of medical specialities.
Interventional Radiology
We provide a 24/7 comprehensive IR clinical service performing a full-range of image-guided procedures, led by an experienced clinical team with modern equipment, including two angiography suites.
CT
We operate three modern multidetector CT systems and perform a full-range of imaging studies and CT-guided procedures. We have the latest low radiation dose and dual-energy CT imaging technologies.
MRI
We operate two modern 1.5 and 3.0 Tesla MRI scanners at Epping and Broadmeadows and perform a full-range of imaging studies including advanced neuro, body and breast MRI.
Ultrasound
We provide a busy and comprehensive ultrasound service with a fleet of state-of-the-art ultrasound systems across our campuses, performing a full-range of adult, paediatric, vascular and obstetric imaging.
Mammography
Our breast imaging team supports a busy symptomatic breast service at Northern Health and we have the capability to perform 3D tomosynthesis, breast intervention and contrast-enhanced mammography.
Nuclear Medicine and PET
We operate a comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine service with three gamma cameras and we are currently building a new state-of-the-art PET-CT department.
